Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide professional, reliable, competent and compassionate home health care services to people who have complex health care challenges. These services are essential to safeguarding the home lives of the people we serve and to preserving their family unit. We believe in the dignity of the human person, the positive impact of families and their expectation of superior home health care services. SNS/Family Lives will provide home care to our clients and customers throughout Massachusetts by maintaining a working philosophy of continuous improvement in quality of care, delivery of service and cost effectiveness. We are committed to the personal and professional development of each individual employee. Appreciation

We invite our nurses and therapists to join us for limited but lavish dinners and discussions of works of literature that illuminate the nature of healthcare in the modern world.

Past

Family Lives reimburses full time nurses $250.00 of their educational loan payments every month. Family Lives also reimburses full time nurses. $1,500.00 of their tuition payments every year and 100% of the cost of nurses' professional license renewals every three.

Benefits

We offer our nurses and therapists who meet eligibility requirements (among others things) bonuses, employee discounts, insurances, paid times off, retirement accounts, and contributions thereto.

Present

The weekly cost of the individual health insurance plan that full time nurses pay reflects the average weekly cost in Massachusetts; The cost of the family plan is 8% less than the national average. Family Lives also reimburses 75% of its health insurance plan's yearly deductible.

Education

We host and invite our nurses and therapists to be our guests at courses, presentations, and workshops to improve their skill and care.

Future

Family Lives contributes 7% of its eligible nurses' yearly select wage into their retirement account every year, the average contribution being 32% more than peer groups and 55% more than industry. Family Lives also arranges financial planning for all nurses at no cost to them.
